"It's almost impossible to find a U.S. Pinot Noir that tastes like Pinot Noir. Most are just delicious ripe reds with inky dark color and too much wood.

There is only one I've tasted in the past year that even comes close to a "typical" Pinot. It's called Fox Farm Vineyards, and it's from Oregon. Well worth a look, and if pressed, I'd give it a 90++ score. The only trouble is that it's hard to find."
